Social Club Driver

As a 4Sight Vision Support volunteer car driver you will enable people with sight loss to access our East Preston/Littlehampton 4Sight Club. Using your own transport, you would collect members from their agreed location, transport them to the club and return them as agreed.
Drivers are requested to use their own vehicle (mileage paid). You may be required to assist members in and out of the vehicle but only if appropriate and safe to do so.
What skills do I need?
The passion to make a positive difference to people with sight loss would advantageous. Having courteous and competent driving skills is a must. To have good communication skills and the ability to work with venerable people is essential. Being flexible, reliable and self-motivated is key due to the nature of this role.
Specific role requirements:
- Clean, full driving licence
- Road worthy vehicle
- Up-to-date MOT certificate
- Full vehicle insurance
