We are looking for a volunteer to
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to guests and team
- Support in the cleaning and tidying of the galley, dining and accommodation areas
- Help with dishwashing, recycling and food storage processes
- Work as part of the hospitality team with a cheerful and servant-hearted approach
- Receive training in food hygiene and relevant kitchen tasks
- Uphold CYE safeguarding standards at all times
What skills do I need?
Kitchen Support
- Help prepare, serve and tidy away meals for guests and team
- Carry out washing up and cleaning tasks as directed
- Follow food hygiene procedures and training
Team Contribution
- Contribute positively to the kitchen team with a helpful and cheerful attitude
- Support other areas of the hospitality team as needed, such as cleaning
- Be flexible and proactive in approach to various tasks
Training and Safety
- Complete food hygiene training provided by CYE
- Use kitchen equipment only after appropriate instruction
- Observe all relevant health and hygiene guidelines
Safeguarding and Discipleship
- Uphold and comply with all CYE safeguarding policies
