A Treasurer is required to support the operation of 1st Birdham and Witterings Scout Group.
As Treasurer you will be responsible for:
- Providing financial administration and bookkeeping of all income and expenditure
- Be a full and active trustee and attend evening committee meetings (4 to 6 per year) and the AGM
- Manage and monitor all the financial activities
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget
- Prepare financial reports and annual accounts
This is a trustee role and so you must be eligible to be a charity trustee and aged over 18 years.
What skills do I need?
Love a spreadsheet, then this is the role for you. You'll need to have basic computer skills and an understanding of book-keeping.
