Garden Helpers

We are looking for able bodied people to help us with the general maintenance of parts of our park. The work is varied and requirements will change with the seasons. We are planting new plants, watering them (when allowed) weeding the entrance avenues and pruning and edging around the park on a regular basis. We also regularly litter pick the park. The role requires some physical activity but we will tailor jobs dependent on ability and experience. We are a friendly bunch of mostly older residents who just want to help the Council keep our park nice for everyone.
What skills do I need?
General gardening skills are beneficial but not essential as there will always be someone around to help.
