The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge launches from 21st July across all 3 of our Community libraries, and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support this exciting programme!
What skills do I need?
⭐ Enrolling children onto the challenge ⭐ Talking with children about the books they have read ⭐ Handing out rewards, stickers, and incentives ⭐ Supporting treasure hunts and fun library activities ⭐ Encouraging children aged 4–11 to enjoy reading ⭐ Assisting with book returns and general library support
