If you would like to support young people who are homeless or at risk of homeless in Blackpool, but would prefer to not be in a young persons facing role then this is the ideal opportunity for you.
The Behind the Scenes volunteers provide support in a none facing role to enable Streetlife to deliver its core work of supporting young people aged 16-25 who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Streetlife has various volunteer opportunities behind the scenes including (this is not an exhaustive list), sorting donations of food and making up food parcels, sorting clothes donations, fundraising, food for thought, admin and marketing support, IT and gardening.
Streetlife operates a Nightshelter in Blackpool which is open 365 days per year 24/7 offering practical and emotional support and a Day Centre which provides face to face support through a drop in for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
If you can spare a few hours either on a regular basis or ad hoc basis we would welcome you onboard.
