Centre Volunteer

Admin • Clerical tasks including filing, data input, photocopying etc. Shop • Stock rotation. • Organising/tidying shop. • Shop displays. • Sorting donations (processing saleable stock and dealing with substandard stock appropriately). • Processing sales through till and handling money. (inc. Café) • Dealing with customer enquiries. (inc. Café) Café • Assisting with food preparation. (Requires Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene) • Taking orders. • Washing up. • Cleaning tables, surfaces etc. Warehouse • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance. • Helping with general upkeep of building. • Heavy lifting of furniture and other household items. Garden • Planting, seed sowing, propagation, nursery work etc. • Maintenance and general upkeep of the garden.
