Keighley & District Agricultural Show will be held on Saturday 5th September at Marley Fields, Keighley. The staging of this event takes a dedicated team of volunteers to transform one large, empty field into a “mini village” during the week leading up to the Show, and then return the field to its usual state afterwards. Volunteers are also required for Show day itself to help out with a variety of tasks.

We are looking for active, willing volunteers who can commit to a minimum of approx 16 hours across Tuesday 1st Sept - Fri 4th Sept (between 10 am - 4.30 pm approx) to help erect fences, barriers, mark out spaces reserved for Trade Stands, move chairs from storage to various locations etc. We are also looking for volunteers who can help with the clean up operation on Sunday 6th September from 10 am - 1 pm approx

Any volunteers who could also help out on Show day itself between 10 am and 4.30 pm approx would also be very welcome.

What skills do I need?

• Able to work with a team and also be able to use own initiative • Willing to be flexible and “turn one’s hand” to a variety of tasks • A reasonable level of physical fitness • Enjoy working outdoors • Able to be flexible in respect of hours available
