We support disabled clients in community activities. This role involves driving the client and their support worker from their house to the community activity. You will not be expected to support the client, this is the support worker's role. As the driver your role is to arrive on time, drive safely and ensure the client and their support have a comfortable journey.

This role is flexible and is available every week day. You can choose your own availbility and we will only ask you to drive during this time.

We pay your fuel costs. HMRC states that we are able to pay 45pence per mile and you do not pay tax or NI on this payment.

As you are a volunteer of the Inclusive Volunteering Service you will be covered by our insurance. However, we advise you to tell your insurance company that you are doing volunteer driving. This should not affect your premium.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for friendly, approachable, non judgemental people with access to their own vehicles.

You should have a full, clean driving licence.

Your vehicle should be minimum 4 doors, fully taxed and current MOT.

This opportunity is available Countywide.
