TreeAction UK is a non profit environmental conservation organisation based in Sussex.

We plant trees in schools and public land across Sussex, working closely with the Council.

We welcome volunteer to join our 'Tree Care Crew' and undertake practical conservation and habitat management on trees we have planted on public land in Shoreham, Lancing and Southwick.

Volunteering with tree action involves: tree maintenance, staking and tying; weeding; watering support when needed, mulching and scrub clearance.

We also have tree planting opportunities taking place in winter - follow our social media @TreeActionUK to find out more.

Benefits

This is practical outdoors work - please dress for the weather, and remember to wear sturdy footwear like hiking boots.

Tools and training provided.

All of our community tree planting sites are in public parks and are reasonably accessible by public transport. There is free parking available near all of our sites.

We are a disability confident organisation, please let us know if there are any ways that we can support you in volunteering if you have a disability or health condition.

Support Disabled

We can assign a volunteering buddy to help provide additional support and guidance.
