Volunteer with us at Tower House Community Centre at the start of a new project to create and co-host fortnightly informal, friendly and supportive peer support groups for people living with Dementia and their family/friend carers. The role will involve setting up the environment, welcoming and involving all members, chatting and discussing information from our 'taught' sessions that run alongside this informal group. Listening to group members, showing empathy and making a good cuppa will all be important! Work with a friendly small group of other specialist volunteers supporting people at this challenging time of life.
