As a hub volunteer, you will be one of the first people to greet visitors, including staff, other volunteers and the public.  You will help provide information to people in Brighton & Hove using the support of digital tools.   You will work with the Customer Support Advisor to keep the hub space, fresh and welcoming. You will also:

• Answer face-to-face questions from visitors

• Help people use a tablet for digital support

• Listen to and support clients with their problems

• Help the CSA with office tasks like updating forms and flyers

• Tell the CSA if you have any worries about a client

• Follow any new procedures as needed.

Practical Considerations

At 95 Queens Rd, we are 1 minute walk from Brighton train station and we are based on a busy bus route.  Ideally, we ask for at least 3 hours of volunteering per week.  

Good bus and train network close by.

Volunteering will be a 3 hour shift (1pm to 4pm). We are looking for 1 volunteer to do every other Tuesday afternoon.
We are also looking for ad hoc volunteers who can help out to cover volunteer holidays etc
