We're the charity that supports people as they become parents. Local NCT groups and activities are an essential part of what we do and help parents feel confident connected and safe. Walk & Talks are an easy and accessible way to promote physical activity whilst meeting others and having somebody to talk to.

As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing Walk & Talk group in your local area. In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all parents.

Benefits

What can you expect from us?

  •  A great volunteer experience where you can meet new people and develop skills.
  •  Excellent support from experienced volunteers and our Volunteering Team.
  •  Access to an online platform with all the tools, resources and training you will need.
  •  Expenses paid in line with our expenses policy.
  •  Equity, diversity and inclusion being championed through all that we do.
  •  Importantly you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to parents in your local community.

  •  Following NCT guidance to ensure all events are welcoming, inclusive and safe.
  •  Collecting and sharing information about the difference you make to parents.
  •  Promoting NCT’s values and vision in the local community.

  •  Motivated and reliable.

Time commitment:
