Great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out and about. Join our growing team of amazing volunteers at Sussex Beacon, and play a key role as a Van Assistant in supporting our Home Store in deliveries to our customers and in collecting donations.  

No driving is required for this role and as a Volunteer Van Assistant you will be :

  • Assisting the van driver in the day-to-day running of collections and deliveries. 
  • Serving all customers in a polite, friendly and helpful manner
  • Adhering to all shop and van policies and procedures
  • Clearing any rubbish as and when needed
  • Help keep store room area clean and tidy at all times
  • Attend shop staff meetings and training sessions
  • Undertake any other duties deemed reasonable as and when necessary.

Practical Considerations
