We are looking for someone to join our committee with the role of Guided Visits Organiser. We offer 2 or 3 guided visits each season- September to June. We need someone to come up with interesting ideas for places to visit of historical interest, and then to plan and coordinate the actual visits themselves. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organising events and helping members explore history beyond the lecture theatre
What skills do I need?
An interest in history and historical places is essential. An ability to plan and communicate ideas about possible visits for committee approval, and to carry this through into actually organising the visits.
Location
This opportunity can be carried out whilst working from home.
