Minds to Media is seeking five enthusiastic volunteers to join our Funding & Partnerships team. If you’re passionate about arts, creativity, and making a real difference in young people’s lives, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your skills, gain experience in the charity sector, and support the growth and sustainability of our organisation.

Available Roles:

1. Senior Grant Writer

  • Lead on large funding bids, including trusts, statutory funding, and multi-year projects
  • Prepare compelling applications to secure funding for our programmes
  • Work closely with the team to align funding proposals with organisational priorities

2. Trusts & Foundations Researcher

  • Identify and build a pipeline of potential funding opportunities
  • Prospect new trusts and foundations aligned with Minds to Media’s mission
  • Support the grant-writing process with insights and recommendations

3. Corporate Partnerships Manager

  • Develop and manage sponsorships, CSR initiatives, and brand partnerships
  • Build long-term relationships with corporate partners
  • Support creative collaborations that benefit both Minds to Media and partner organisations

4. Fundraising Events Lead

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver fundraising events and campaigns
  • Engage the community and supporters in creative fundraising activities
  • Work closely with the team to maximise event impact and income

5. Donor & CRM Manager

  • Manage relationships with donors and supporters
  • Maintain and report on donor data through our CRM system
  • Support the team in tracking funding outcomes and impact

What skills do I need?

Skills Required – Funding & Partnerships Volunteers

1. Senior Grant Writer

  • Experience writing successful funding applications, trusts, or statutory bids
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders

2. Trusts & Foundations Researcher

  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Ability to identify funding opportunities and build prospect pipelines
  • Organised and methodical approach to managing information
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

3. Corporate Partnerships Manager

  • Experience building and managing partnerships or sponsorships
  • Understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and brand collaborations
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

4. Fundraising Events Lead

  • Experience planning and running events or fundraising campaigns
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate volunteers, participants, or the community
  • Creative problem-solving and attention to detail

5. Donor & CRM Manager

  • Experience managing donor relationships or fundraising databases
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or willingness to learn
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
