LEGS (Local Exercise Groups for stroke and neurological conditions) is a registered charity providing supported exercise classes led by specialist physiotherapists for people who have had a stroke or live with a neurological condition. LEGS was founded to provide ongoing, high quality, longer-term, affordable rehabilitation which is not time limited. This is a chance to make a difference to the lives of people living with neurological conditions. This is also a brilliant opportunity to work alongside experienced neuro physiotherapists and gain experience in the health care sector in a friendly, supportive environment, (but please note no clinical experience is required and you will not be providing any care).
LEGS is committed to safeguarding. Successful volunteers will require an enhanced DBS check. We can arrange this for you. We will also require you to present us with proof of identity, emergency contact details and a proof of address.
