Love Coffee, Cake and Community? Join Our Kiosk Volunteer Team!

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help run our garden refreshments kiosk. We are a registered charity, and every cup of tea and slice of cake sold helps us keep our wonderful garden open and thriving for the community!

What You’ll Be Doing

Our small, welcoming kiosk serves visitors hot and cold drinks, delicious cakes, and light bites.

The kiosk’s regular opening hours are:

• From April to October: Thursdays 11:00am – 2:30pm and one Sunday a month 11:00am – 4:30pm.
• Two Sundays and one Thursday in February (for our snowdrop days).

The period covered by the catering team includes setting up before hand and clearing up at the end of the day. We also cater for occasional groups who visit the Gardens on other days. Choose your shift: Volunteer on a regular weekly/monthly basis, or just jump in for the occasional shift when you have free time. 

What skills do I need?

 No experience necessary! While catering experience is helpful, it’s certainly not required. Full training provided: We’ll show you the ropes, so you feel confident from day one.
