Can you spare some time on 11th October 2026 to help out with Havens Chelmsford marathon? Volunteers needed 

Join us for the popular Chelmsford Marathon as a Havens Volunteer What’s involved? - Baggage - Manage the drop-off and collection area for participants’ belongings. - Route marshal - providing encouragement and ensuring the safety of participants along the route - Water station marshal - keeping runners hydrated by managing water stations - Finish Line - Handing out medals and water to participants as they cross the finish line. Please be aware that some roles may involve lifting and moving heavy objects. Time commitment: Approximately 8 hours depending on role (time TBC) What do you get? - All our volunteers will be given the equipment they need to help deliver race day. - Pre-race instructions will be emailed out in advance and you'll get a volunteer briefing before the race so you know exactly what to expect from your day. - It's also a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, be part of your local community, build up your confidence and have some fun!
