Are you passionate about helping autistic adults and people with learning disabilities build confidence and move towards employment? Hamelin’s Links Project is looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support our weekly Employment Support Drop-In Sessions in Basildon.
What you could help with:
• Supporting people with CV writing
• Encouraging confidence and communication skills
• Helping individuals explore work and volunteering options
• Offering a welcoming and supportive environment
• Assisting with job searches and applications
• Providing general encouragement and practical support
What skills do I need?
· Friendly, patient and approachable manner
· Good communication and listening skills
· Ability to work with autistic adults and people with learning disabilities
· Reliable and supportive attitude
· Basic IT or CV writing knowledge would be helpful but not essential
· No formal qualifications or previous experience required, as guidance and support will be provided
