High Street Heroes - Community Planters
You will be redirected to the Volunteer Essex website to express your interest.
To join a community group to maintain raised planters in Dovercourt town.
- Planters and plants will be supplied by Tendring District Council.
- Hand tools will be supplied.
What skills do I need?
- To maintain and care for designated raised beds in place around Harwich Town.
- Interested in green spaces or gardening.
- Basic planting and watering skills (training can be provided).
- Team work and friendly attitude.
- Pride in improving the local spaces, light physical ability.
- Reliability and ability to commit to occasional sessions.
- Help coordinate the community members, complete a register of attendees, report any issues to CVST and be a supportive friendly lead to the community group.
- No formal experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.
