The role involves assisting instructors with groups and activities during our busier period from April to October.

Tasks include:

  • Meet and greet customers
  • Get out and put away equipment
  • Assist instructors during activities
  • Help to support young people during lunchtime and breaks
  • Assist with general admin tasks
  • Support staff with general maintenance of the grounds and equipment

The Grangewaters site mainly operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm (May–August), with occasional evening and weekend bookings. The role is flexible during these days and times. Volunteering hours can be mutually agreed in advance with the volunteer manager.
