Join our small team of dedicated staff as a volunteer minibus driver. To provide a door to door service to the members of Wyvern Community Transport driving an accessible minibus vehicle. Follow a time schedule. To work with the Transport Manager, office staff and other drivers to ensure the highest standard of service is provided. would need to be physically fit and have a calm and caring disposition with excellent communication skills. Many of our members are elderly/vulnerable people and the transport service they receive is part of their day out so enjoy a chat with the drivers.

What skills do I need?

Full driving licence, free from endorsements (group D1 is preferable but not necessary to drive our 2 MPV 8 passenger seaters).

Minimum driving experience 3 years.

Age over 21 years (due to insurance requirements).

MiDAS trained would be preferred but we would provide in house MiDAS DAT Training for this role if required.

Flexible and likes working as part of a team.

Preferably some experience working with the elderly or vulnerable.

To be able to work using own initiative in sometimes difficult situations.
