An opportunity to volunteer as one of the walk leaders for our Wellbeing Walks. These are short walks designed to help individuals get more active without any strenuous exercise, as well as provide an opportunity to meet new people. As a walk leader, you will be helping people in your local community become more active by ensuring our walks are welcoming, social, enjoyable, and safe.

Rochford District Council coordinates two weekly wellbeing walks, one taking place in Hullbridge and the other in Hockley Woods. The Hullbridge walk takes place every Monday at 10:45am, with attendees meeting in the free car park on the corner of Pooles Lane and Ferry Road (SS5 6PA). The Hockley Woods walk takes place every Thursday at 10:45am, with attendees meeting in Hockley Woods car park (SS5 4RQ), which is pay and display. You do not have to commit to every week or both walks. Any and all support is welcome and appreciated.
