The Beaver leader volunteer role involves helping to lead a group of young people aged 6 to 8 in a fun and safe environment. The leader helps plan and deliver the Beaver Scout program, which includes games, activities, and the opportunity to earn badges. The leader will also be part of the Leadership team and will work closely with parents, other volunteers, and the Scout Association to ensure a high-quality program for the Beaver Scouts.
The role requires enthusiasm, a sense of fun, and basic common sense. Previous Scouting or Guiding experience is not necessary, and the leader will learn new skills by working with other adults and the Beavers themselves.
