• Weekly Circle Dance

  • Welcome attendees warmly and help set up the group space before sessions.
  • Support participants during group activities dancing and gentle exercise.
  • Encourage conversation, inclusion, and positive interaction among attendees.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments where needed (following hygiene guidelines).
  • Assist with tidying up and resetting the venue after sessions.
  • Observe and report any wellbeing concerns or changes in attendees to staff.
  • Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety standards at all times.
  • Be an ambassador for Recapture Life’s values of dignity, kindness, and empowerment..

What skills do I need?

Empathetic, patient, and respectful attitude.

Good communication and listening skills.

Reliable and able to work as part of a supportive team.

Comfortable engaging with people living with dementia.

Positive and encouraging, with a sense of humour and warmth.

Willingness to follow training, guidance, and safeguarding procedures.

No previous care experience needed — just a kind heart and willingness to learn.
