Volunteer Coordinators

Do you have some time to spare and feel able to do your bit for the community by joining the Group's small, but very willing, band of volunteers?
We need Volunteer Coordinators whose job it is to take telephone requests from clients and to book drivers to fulfil the requests. Our patch includes South Horndean, Lovedean, Blendworth and Catherington. Our Coordinators generally commit to one or two weeks on a rota system, which can be flexible and training and support is given. The mobile phone is provided and has voicemail so if you can't take the call, no problem! Just ring back when you're free.
Our organisation is staffed entirely by volunteers.
What skills do I need?
Ability to take telephone messages accurately and transmit messages to volunteer drivers to match requirements.
