Testwood Lakes Sailability (TLS) is a volunteer-run charity that provides dinghy sailing for people with any disability.

Receptionist main tasks:

• Start the day by setting up the reception desk in the Boat House.
• The main task is to greet the sailors, book them in, take the sailing fee issue a receipt and then have them fitted with a Buoyancy Aid.
• If the sailor is in a wheelchair assist with the fitting of a sling to be used with the hoist.
• Record the cash in the petty cash book and at the end of each session total the funds and complete the returns for the Treasurer.
• To keep the following records: of the availability of the volunteers for future sessions; and the number of sailors per session for submission to the RYA.
• To keep in contact with the pontoon by radio so that all are aware of the number of sailors waiting to sail.
• Managing the flow of sailors to the pontoon. 
• To provide drinks to the sailors and volunteers.
• At the end of the day store all equipment in its correct place.

Volunteers will receive training for all of the above tasks.
