At Stoke Park Junior School, we currently have vacancies on our governing body. The Governors are an essential part of the school community and play a key role in improving educational standards for all children.

Governors
take satisfaction by giving something back to the school:
- They make planned visits to classroom and outside events.
- They are willing to learn and listen to pupils and teachers.
- They attend short evening courses and training sessions to learn more about their role.
Governors

supporting the Headteacher and staff.

taking an independent view of school spending.

using their own experience of the wider world.
- by being positive about new innovations.
