Odiham Cottage Hospital Shop have three busy charity shops located in Hartley Wintney, Odiham and Old Basing and are currently looking for volunteers to join their retail team in all three shops.

The role includes helping sort donated goods, steaming clothes, helping and serving customers including use of the cash register and 'pin machine', keeping the shop clean and tidy and for those with a creative flair helping change the window displays with seasonal merchandise. If interested the team are also looking for volunteers to help with Gift Aid donations and specific training is available for this if volunteers are happy to look at this task too although it is optional.

Ideally volunteers will help for a morning or afternoon shift per a week but this can be flexible if the volunteer has other commitments i.e. college / school run etc. 

Volunteers are welcome from 14+ upwards - so suitable for those looking for work experience or undertaking volunteer awards such as DofE.

There is free parking available for volunteers.

What skills do I need?

Good communication skills and happy to volunteer as part of a team.

Ideally volunteers will be able to help for a morning or afternoon shift however this can be flexible if volunteers have other commitments. 

Students wishing to gain work experience or volunteer as part of a Duke of Edinburgh scheme are welcome from 14+.
