Social Media Content Creator

Future Steps Hampshire CIC supports children and young people to build confidence, self-esteem and positive futures through creative wellbeing workshops and targeted support.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to help us grow our online presence and share the impact of our work with the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content for Facebook and Instagram
• Develop ideas for posts, campaigns and stories that showcase our work
• Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva or similar platforms
• Schedule and publish social media posts
• Help promote workshops, events and fundraising opportunities
• Share positive stories and impact from our programmes
• Work with the CIC directors to ensure content reflects our values and mission

Time Commitment

Flexible. Approximately 4-6 hours per week. Timing is completely flexible though we would probably have a Teams or face to face meeting every two weeks which would be organised at a mutually convenient time.

What skills do I need?

• Experience using Canva or similar design software
• Good written communication skills
• Understanding of social media platforms and current trends
• Ability to create visually appealing content
• Interest in supporting young people and community projects
• Experience in marketing, communications or content creation would be beneficial
