Would you like to make a genuine contribution to a valued local charity? Have you got a few hours a month to spare? Then a volunteer role on our Board of Trustees could be the perfect role for you!

Parkside is a small charity which supports 130 people with a learning disability through a range of activities and services. We are always striving to be better for all our members and are looking for a variety of skills and expertise on our Board of Trustees to help us develop in a professional and sustainable way. We are a small team who need people like you to help us continue our valuable work!

As a Trustee you will be responsible for giving direction to Parkside and ensuring we meet our objectives effectively. Trustees are expected to develop a good understanding of the organisation, how it operates, its staff and the people it serves, and to commit to our vision, mission and values.

The Trustees formally meet as a Board on Tuesday evenings every 8 weeks and sub-committees generally meet once a month on average.
