We’re looking for an administrator to support our scheme in delivering the support we provide to our members who are Older People living independently across the New Forest District. Our aim is to enable Older People to live later life well.

Please only register if you are genuinely interested. Please ask any questions in the notes section when registering your interest. We can then have a chat (we will initially telephone, so please be aware you will receive a call from an unknown mobile number, followed up with a text message and then a final email). We can complete your application (digital or paper) and finally complete your DBS check and references.

We do ask interested volunteers to ‘try out’ an activity before committing to signing up. This will be for all face-to-face activities (excluding befriending services). This will be a great opportunity to see what we do and find out more about us. We have a number of ongoing groups, which can facilitate a person coming along and seeing what we do.

What skills do I need?

The role will from time to time involve calling our members to check that they are ok and happy with the service we are providing. Therefore a clear speaking voice and pleasant telephone manner will be essential.

The role will also involve taking and recording bookings for activities, updating our member database and assisting the team in collecting important data for funding applications.  Therefore IT experience is essential.

Please note initially this role is office based in Ringwood and we have a Covid19 safety procedure.
