We’re looking for a reliable, organised and friendly volunteer to support our Volunteer Team with day-to-day administration and enquiries.

You’ll help us keep things running smoothly by responding to basic enquiries, supporting organisations using our volunteering service and helping to review and moderate volunteer opportunities before they are published.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys admin, organisation and helping people and would like to gain experience within a charity and voluntary sector environment.

What you’ll be doing

· Supporting the Volunteer Team with day-to-day administration.

· Responding to basic enquiries from organisations and members of the public.

· Helping manage enquiries and questions received through our volunteering service.

· Reviewing and approving volunteer roles submitted by member organisations.

· Moderating volunteer opportunities to make sure they meet our requirements before being published.

· Helping organisations with basic questions about submitting or managing their volunteer roles.

· Passing more complex enquiries to the appropriate member of the team.

· Keeping information accurate and up to date on our volunteering systems.

· Providing general administrative support to the Volunteer Team.

· Friendly, helpful and professional.

· Able to pay attention to detail when reviewing information.

· Comfortable following guidelines and knowing when to pass an enquiry to someone else.

· Interested in volunteering and supporting local community organisations.
