Event Assistant (HVC-2013)

Would you like to help the library staff deliver events and activities in libraries for both adults and children, for example, Baby Bounce, In Stitches, Author talks etc?
Then this is the role for you!
The main duties for this role would be
- Liaising with the Library Manager and Event Leader about Library events,
- Contacting Library members with information about upcoming events,
- Setting up and clearing away the area or room used.
- Help to Market and promote the event and record visitor attendance.
What skills do I need?
As you will be dealing with various members of the community good communication skills would be essential.
This role can be carried out at a flexible time to suit you during library opening hours.
We would ask for a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week but are open to negotiation.
