Join Theatre On Ice Academy and help capture the magic of Shrek the Musical on Ice!

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a live production while creating engaging digital content for social media.

As a Filming Social Media & Digital Content Volunteer, you’ll be responsible for capturing behind-the-scenes moments, performance highlights, and audience experiences through photo and video. You’ll help bring the production to life online by creating fun, creative, and engaging content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Volunteers are key in promoting the show and showcasing the energy of the event, helping to grow our online presence and engage wider audiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in content creation, social media, or digital marketing to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment. Volunteers can commit to one full day, although availability across all three days is strongly preferred to ensure consistent content coverage. 

The performances take place between 3rd and 5th July 2026

What skills do I need?

We are looking for creative, confident individuals who are passionate about social media and content creation. No formal qualifications are required, but the following skills and qualities are preferred:

• Confidence using platforms such as TikTok and Instagram

•Ability to capture high-quality photos and videos using a phone or camera

• Knowledge of current social media trends and engaging content styles

• Basic editing skills (e.g. using apps like CapCut, InShot, or similar)

• Creative mindset and good storytelling ability

• Strong communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude Previous experience in content creation, filming, or social media management is beneficial but not essential.
