As a Warm Space Volunteer with Tapestry, you will help create a welcoming and safe environment for individuals seeking warmth, support, and community.
You will assist with hospitality, engage with visitors, and signpost them to additional services if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming Guests: Greet visitors warmly, making them feel comfortable and included.
• Providing Refreshments: Serve hot drinks and light snacks, ensuring a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
• Engaging with Visitors: Offer conversation and companionship to those who may be feeling isolated.
• Monitoring the Space: Ensure the area remains clean, tidy, and safe for all attendees
• Signposting Support: Provide information on local services and support networks where appropriate.
• Adhering to Policies: Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
