We are looking for volunteers to support the National Literacy Trust with upcoming events in and around Newcastle and Gateshead.
The events are varied and offer opportunity to engage in
- storytelling,
- crafting,
- activities
- and supporting children and families with fun literacy activities.
Events are as and when they occur and will be coordinated in advance - currently need volunteers for
Date: Friday July 10th
Time:9:30-15:00 (anytime within these hours would be amazing, you don't have to attend for the whole time)
Location: Centre for Life
Event: This is a pre-school discovery day event where families of under 5's can bring their little ones and have a day of fun at the Centre For Life.
The Trust will be running sessions throughout the day for up to 20 families at a time including a story time and craft activity. I am looking for volunteers who would like to attend and help out.
