Maintenance

The Tyne Theatre & Opera House is a Grade 1 listed building and as such, requires regular maintenance. We have a small team of volunteers who meet weekly to help with small tasks around the building and we are looking to expand our team. Volunteers may be asked to support tasks such as painting dressing rooms, sorting store rooms, changing light bulbs, repairing seats etc.
All our volunteers are invited to social occasions and events, and offered discounted tickets to productions where available.
What skills do I need?
Basic DIY skills required. Experience in woodwork, plumbing, electrics etc would be an additional plus!
An ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks independently or in a small team is required.
