As part of our Supporting Sisters project at Aspire we aim to support the physical, mental and emotional well being of women so they can live the lives they want.

To do this we need to provide a safe, supportive environment for women to engage with the different services we offer, sometimes this is as part of a volunteer led group, in centre, online or through outreach activities..

Full training will be provided and expenses will be paid whilst on duty.

Group Leaders and Support will

  • Facilitate/co-host the designated group
  • Be responsible for relevant paperwork (registers, monitoring)
  • Completed mandatory training and ongoing training relevant o role.
  • Attend Supporting Sister meetings as required to support their role.
  • Be effective in managing diversity within a group, working within clear boundaries, seeking advice and guidance where necessary.
  • Keep good communication channels open with Volunteer Co-ordinator, and feed back into meetings where appropriate.
  • Role will require DBS check which Aspire will cover the cost for and 2 references
