What skills do I need?
- good communication skills
- medical fitness for crewing responsibilities
- ability to deal with all likely customer care scenarios
- willingness to learn to operate all kitchen equipment
- to provide cafe/bar and light meals (no cooking required)
- willingness to learn food hygiene and first aid practical skills
- reliability to undertake rostered sessions following Electra processes.

Generally a shift is 4 and a half hours long. You choose which days/times you volunteer by filling in your availability on a roster sheet. They do ask that you do a minimum of 18 over the period that the cruises are run between the middle of April and the middle of December.
