Would you like to get more involved in shaping your communities’ culture and heritage? Join us to participate in an exciting community-based project which aims to provide a platform for new perspectives on our local history, heritage, and culture. About the project: Creating Heritage Links is an exciting 5-month volunteer programme that offers a unique opportunity to join CCT as part of a co-produced project to research, interpret and link the heritage of the Old Black Lion Pub and St Peters Church, culminating in a series of activities and events. The project presents a unique chance to support and learn more about your local area’s history, as well as providing the opportunity to gain and develop invaluable skills. For more information about the project please visit: https://www.creatinglinks.co.uk/. About the role: During the project period you will be supported by the Creative Producer, and CCT staff to research, design, create and install interpretation that tells a person-centred story of both sites and the local area.
We would love to hear from people that have any interest in heritage (history, art, archeology etc.) Previous experience is great, but we welcome all levels and would love to hear from people who would like to learn more.
