The Food Club setup is at 10:30am which involves distribution amongst 30 boxes. The clients arrive from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with unloading food items on their arrival.

• Stocking of food baskets, shelves and stock control.

• Fridge freezer management and distribution of food from them.

• Helping clients to fill in registration forms.

• Assisting clients.

• Signposting clients to other community provision

What skills do I need?

Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided; however, this role would suit people that are:

  •  Friendly and approachable
  •  Great at dealing with people in a polite and respectful manner
  •  Team players
  •  Able to follow instructions
  •  Good Listener
  •  Passionate about supporting their community

Expectations

• To be reliable, respectful, responsible and honest.

• Work well as a team member.

• To inform the project lead the night before if unable to attend for duty that day.

• To speak to the project lead if you have concerns regarding your welfare or safeguarding needs.

• To report to the project lead, any health issues so that these can be addressed immediately, and an alternative role be appointed.
