To take charge of cooking for approx 40-50 people at a luncheon club providing a nutritious main course and dessert (with veg/dietary requirement options as required) and to help clear up afterwards.
The luncheon club meets every week (apart from the month of August and bank holidays) and is run entirely by volunteers who help in the kitchen, serve/wait on customers and help to clear up afterwards. We are looking for a cook to take charge of the meals, either on a weekly basis or as part of an existing volunteer team on a rota basis. (This could be weekly, fortnightly or 4 weekly).
Mondays 9.00am-3pm (approx)
The ability to plan and execute one main dish and 1 dessert each week/fortnight/4 weekly (see above) allowing also for dietary requirement led variations of the same dish.
The ability to work with and direct an existing team of helpers/servers as necessary.
Good communication and a willingness to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the meal.
