We are a small foundation who provide a learning opportunity for home educated children aged 4 to 12 years. The sessions run on a Wednesday and a Thursday between the hours of 9.00am and 2.00pm throughout the year. Our provision is play based and project based learning.

Volunteers must be willing to play games with children, participate in creative and craft activities, support with outdoor games and sports, engage the children in reading and generally be available to talk to them and support where necessary. There may be some setting up and clearing away of particular activities. You will gain valuable, hands on experience and build on essential social and communication skills.

What skills do I need?

Our approach is very much based on exploration, investigation, discovery and having fun.

Volunteers would need to communicate with children and ask questions to promote learning opportunities.
