Riding session support helper

- setting up and putting away equipment before and after sessions
- leading horses during sessions to support riders
- side walking alongside riders to help maintain balance and confidence
- assisting participants to ride safely and offering encouragement
- following guidance from riding coaches and supporting the wider team
What skills do I need?
- no specific skills are needed as full RDA‑approved training is provided
- willingness to support participants to ride safely and confidently
- ability to offer calm encouragement to help riders enjoy their experience
- readiness to work as part of a supportive team
- reliability and a positive attitude towards helping others
- openness to learning and following guidance from coaches and experienced helpers

Sessions are term time only: 9.30am - 11.00am.
Volunteers are required to be there 15 minutes either side of the session to help set up and take down the equipment.
