Havant Talking News are looking for editors to provide material for our talking newspaper recordings. You would be looking at local newspapers such as The News, Hayling Herald and other local publications. Many articles are available online, so computer skills are essential.
Our listeners really value the local news and editors play a key role in acting as eyes for our listeners to help them keep up to date with local news and issues.
Training is provided.
About the organisation
Havant Talking News is a free service, recording and sending out recordings from local newspapers to blind and partially sighted people in the Havant Borough area. Recordings are sent out on memory sticks and purpose built machines can be loaned for those without suitable equipment.
