About the role
We are looking for volunteers who can Steward the programme of activities and assisting the public to find their way around the site to enjoy this remarkable day celebrating Portsmouth's naval legacy. The shifts available are 9.30am-1.30pm / 1.30pm - 5.30pm / 5.30pm - 9.30pm.
About the Naval Festival
As part of our Portsmouth 100 Celebrations (in partnership with the Mary Rose Trust and University of Portsmouth, this FREE festival will include: a full programme of talks, tours and presentations, live music, family area and activities, heritage vehicles on display, as well as charity stalls and a pop-up Love Southsea market. There will be something for everyone who wishes to take part and with your help, it promises to be the most remarkable day celebrating Portsmouth's naval legacy.
What skills do I need?
Minimum age 18.
Previous Experience in stewarding events desirable.
Must be available to attend an event/volunteer briefing prior to the event.
Emergency contact details, DOB and valid form of ID required.
You'll enjoy meeting people, have a friendly and approachable style.
