About Sue's House
Sue's House is a nonprofitable registered charity offering complimentary therapies through acupuncture, counselling, Reiki healing, chair Yoga, diet and nutrition advice. We care for those going through and having survived cancer by providing counselling and additional therapies.
Mains tasks and responsibilities
- This is an opportunity to be a part of a small, friendly informal charity, which gives support to people suffering from cancer and other illnesses.
- We need someone to provide reflexology sessions for cancer sufferers and their families when required.
- Experience of working with distressed individuals.
What skills do I need?
Skills, attributes, experience and qualifications
- Therapists should be fully qualified and registered with the appropriate professional body.
- In addition they will need to have personal indemnity insurance to practise at Sue's House.
- The cancer centre is well equipped with therapy rooms appropriate for treatments.

Sue's House is open 3 days a week during the daytime. Volunteers would ideally offer 2 hours a week or fortnight, but other times may be accommodated by arrangement.
