Befriending Care Home Residents

Visiting and befriending an older person living in a care home, usually once a week for an hour. This might involve activities such as reading to them, or playing a game, chatting, or going for a walk. Undergoing a DBS (criminal record check)
Attending training. One to hours a week , within the Adur area.
What skills do I need?
Be reliable, possibly able to push wheelchair
Have empathy and patience,
Be friendly and approachable
Ability to listen and engage in conversation
